Model: Humanized oncology
Humanized oncology mouse models are established by the transplantation of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) into severely immunocompromised NSG mice, harboring tumors established from human cancer cell lines or human patient-derived xenografts (PDX) material.
These models can then be used to screen immunotherapy agents against cancers and to explore the potential combinations of these agents to treat patients and predict outcomes.
